Instructional Technology Mission Statement
The mission of Wenatchee School District instructional technology is to support all teachers being competent and confident in integrating technology into instruction, providing effective professional development in a flexible manner through site-based Technical Resource Teachers and the guidance of the Instructional Technology Coach.

Instructional Technology Vision Statement
Wenatchee School District instructional technology believes that technology must be embedded in the Essential Academic Learning Requirements as well as within other state and national standards. We believe that technology is NOT an add-on content area, but must be integrated into all other content areas throughout the curriculum.

Department's Scope of Certification: The Learning & Teaching Department identifies key processes based upon the requirements of law and guidelines established by the federal and state departments of education as well as the criteria set by research-based best practices and leadership from national and state professional educator organizations.
